What is RSD / CRPS?
Minnesota Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy RSD CRPS Attorneys
Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), also known as complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), is a devastating, chronic pain disease that, if not properly treated, often leaves its sufferers confined to a wheelchair or bedridden. At the Fields Law Firm, we understand the terrible effects of RSD or CRPS pain. If you have been diagnosed with RSD, or are struggling to get an accurate diagnosis, talk to a Minnesota reflex sympathetic dystrophy lawyer who understands RSD. Contact the Fields Law Firm.
RSD is often caused by an injury suffered in an accident and usually develops in the foot or hand (such as a broken bone). However, RSD can also be caused by a slight injury that in other cases wouldn’t normally lead to developing reflex RSD CRPS. It can also be caused by surgery that involved nerve damage.
The overriding RSD symptom is extreme pain, frequently described as burning. Other symptoms can include sensitivity to touch, skin changes, swelling, weakness, and decreased function of the hand or foot. While RSD is most common among women, it does not discriminate on the basis of age, race or gender. It can happen to anyone at anytime.
Reflex sympathetic dystrophy attorney Steve Fields has over ten years of experience working with medical professionals and experts in the RSD field. We have a reputation for our knowledge and experience with RSD cases.
If you are experiencing symptoms of severe pain, unusual burning, aching pain and stiffness in your arms or hands, it may be associated with reflex sympathetic dystrophy brought about by an injury you may have suffered in an accident. We urge you to see an RSD doctor immediately if you are experiencing these symptoms. RSD/CRPS pain will not go away if left untreated. If you are diagnosed with RSD/CRPS, contact a lawyer who understands the nerve injury.
